Commission Express is a franchise business whose branches help real estate agents access their commissions sooner. Orpheus redesigned its website in 2019 and built the custom systems that let corporate staff, franchise managers, and agents work through it.
A national network that has to feel local
Commission Express is a franchising business whose branches work with real estate agents across the country, helping them access their commissions sooner. Agents need to find the branch that serves them, apply, and manage their account. Each franchise needs its own presence, and corporate staff need to manage the whole network from one place.
The company came to Orpheus for a complete redesign of its site. Beyond the new look, the work centered on custom functionality for branches, managers, agents, and applications.
Cleaner, more consistent, and easier to navigate
The new design is cleaner and more consistent across all pages, so visitors can quickly understand each page they reach. The header hides as visitors scroll down and returns when they scroll up, keeping navigation close without getting in the way.
Find the nearest branch by state or ZIP code
As a nationwide business, Commission Express needed visitors to find their nearest branch easily. Orpheus built a custom React map with a pin at every branch location. It can be searched by state or ZIP code, and visitors can zoom in to explore visually. Branch details open from the map and its sidebar.
Branches, managers, and service territories in WordPress
Corporate administrators add and edit franchises through a custom interface in the WordPress dashboard, including each branch’s address, contact details, and advance terms, and can import branches in bulk. They then assign franchise managers to a branch.
Managers edit their own branch landing page through a user portal and control which ZIP codes their branch serves. Those service territories decide which locations appear when someone searches the map by ZIP code, and agents can be routed to the branch that serves them.
Agent accounts
Real estate agents register, sign in, reset passwords, and manage their account through custom forms built into the site.
An application form franchisees can rely on
Orpheus created a custom application form on the Gravity Forms plugin that collects exactly the information franchisees need from applicants, pre-filled with branch and account details where possible. Because it is built with Gravity Forms, administrators can edit it with a drag-and-drop interface.
Sensitive applicant details are cleared from stored entries after use, and older applications are removed automatically.

The redesigned pages, from the homepage and blog to the FAQ and locations, were designed to work on phones as well as large screens. Orpheus also hosted and maintained the site, with maintenance on the franchise plugin continuing into 2026.
